Stream Birthgiving Toad's For Awkward Company

Last week we released the ​Bicycle Cassettes box-set with Birthgiving Toad. It features three albums by this young and extremely talented artist and we'll stream it all during the next three weeks, one album per week.

The first one we give you is entitled ​For Awkward Company​ and was written and recorded on the Danish island Fyn in 2010 (starting on new years eve 2009/2010). All instruments are played by the toad himself in his school's dorm room. As the first completed album by Birthgiving Toad the 10 tracks perfectly encapsulate the scope of Lasse Bækby Buch's brilliant and weird ideas.

Have a listen, it might be too extreme for you at first, but we promise that it'll turn into the most wonderful progressive pop tunes after a few listens, so we suggest that you give it a few spins, you won't regret it.
