Lucky Lo waves goodbye to negativity on the joyful ‘Yes To Myself’
Lucky Lo speaks out against negative and derogatory comments on new playful and cheer-inducing anthem

For many people, intuition — and gut feeling — is challenged over time. Life can be painful, and one’s self-esteem can suffer a serious blow, in the face of adversity and in relationships with others. One’s confidence can experience so many punches that it gets pushed into the darkness, making it difficult to gain a clear perspective. In such situations, only a faint beam of light from a small flashlight can serve as a guide through the darkness. "Yes To Myself" is Lucky Lo's key to finding the way out and becoming her own power and luminous energy.
“It’s about taking care of one’s inner core,” Lo Ersare says. Who herself has been in situations where setting boundaries was needed to regain faith in herself. “I had to realise that I am capable on my own. And above all, I had to trust myself and do the things I want with my life" explains Lo Ersare.
Be your own best friend
On the single “Supercarry” from the debut album with the same name, we heard Lucky Lo sing about the life giving love we feel when taking care of one another - “I will Supercarry you” but on “Yes to Myself”, Lo reminds us that we can carry ourselves with the same kindness, we carry those around us.
"We should all remember to be a good friend to ourselves, and remember to say the same encouraging things to ourselves that we say to our friends."
“Yes to Myself” is released after the highly praised single “I Will Always Be You”, which received major attention on KEXP, NRK P13, rotation on Swedish national radio P3, Danish P4 and P6 Beat and support from Spotify across Europe. The debut album Supercarry was released in March 2022 and gained great national and international acclaim from Danish magazine Gaffa, where Lo graced the cover, P6 Beat, Heartbeats, KCRW, Amazing Radio, Swedish Radio P3 and P4, Radio Eins and BR Puls - to mention a few. All the while, Lucky Lo played a stacking 70 concerts in Scandinavia and Germany in 2022 and has now built up a dedicated national and international fan base.
