The Fader premieres new Blondage single
Having amassed streams in the millions and a rapidly growing fan base in record time Blondage reveals new single “FLF” from their self-titled debut EP (out Sep 16, 2016)
Electronic pop duo Blondage have that rare power where the spaces in their songs carry as much weight as the words. The Copenhagen duo, Pernille Smith-Sivertsen and Esben Andersen, know just how to channel heartache into a synth pop jam, and their new single "FLF" feels like a modern take on a Robyn classic.
The new single "FLF" is a story of a girl fantazising about the one she’s desperately in love with. The abbreviation stands for "Feel Like Falling" and describes the sensation of falling in love and loosing yourself completely just waiting for it to happen. Pernille whispers her longing in the verse, but shortly after the retained energy is redeemed into a big R'n'B chorus. We are after all left with the hope of reaching what and and whom we yearn for.
“Feel Like Falling is about being utterly and completely in love with someone to the extent where you’re longing for this person with every fiber in your body. It’s a gloomy love ballad of devotion and desperation.” Esben elaborates.
The forthcoming EP Blondage can be pre-ordered on vinyl or download here.
