Vinyl giveaway, november 2025

This month’s vinyl giveaway: Spit and Image by Pardans.

Pardans push boundaries on their explosive 2018 album Spit and Image. Drawing from punk, jazz, and 70s No Wave, the record is a wild, genre-bending ride full of intensity, wit, and raw emotion.

Frontman Gustav Berntsen’s sharp, dramatic lyrics meet an unpredictable mix of saxophone, piano, and viola — creating songs that twist and turn between chaos and beauty. From the noir-tinged “(Hookers With) Hidden Depths” to the ferocious “When Come The Rats,” Spit and Image captures the sound of a band unlike any other.
