Kleo carries her beating heart in her hands on debut single “Miss You”

Today, Kleo makes her Tambourhinoceros debut with “Miss You”, an alt-pop song full of longing, where a grandiose soundscape of dreamy guitars and synths over an uptempo, persistent beat tells the story of how grief and loss leave bleeding hearts.

The song is about carrying your heart in your hands, letting yourself be vulnerable and opening up to the darkness so the light can flow in - Kleo

Kleo’s sound emerges from writing songs behind the piano and from a hybrid universe of love for transcendental meditation, Vedic astrology, hyper romance, rock n’ roll and big pop songs. Kleo’s music speaks to the zeitgeist of 2022, where dreamy, alternative poetic pop breaks taboos.

On “Miss You '' Kleo’s velvety, honest and vulnerable vocals sings about longing and having memories haunt you like a film on the retina with a message to turn darkness into light and bring beauty back to your life - even when it seems impossible. “Miss You” is Kleo’s message to see your own reality from a bigger perspective - about growing as a human being, and decorating the dark room of grief with objects that let the light back in. In essence, a hymn to dreams and hope.
