Since her debut solo project, Chimes & Bells, in 2009 released via Bella Union, Trier has built a reputation as a world-class musician and songwriter, having taken part in a string of projects, including cello in Choir of Young Believers (Ghostly) and Iceage frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt's project Marching Church (Sacred Bones), and sung in experimental vocal group Valby Vokalgruppe.
