New artist: Frisk Frugt
Anders Lauge Meldgaard is the man behind the alias Frisk Frugt, who for several years music has fascinated us with his quirky, ever-present and refreshing approach to songwriting.
In 2006 Frisk Frugt released the more than excellent debut Guldtrompeten, and in 2012 Anders Lauge Meldgaard gave us the masterpiece Dansktoppen møder Burkina Faso i det himmelblå rum hvor solen bor, suite. The album was nominated for the Nordic Music Prize, and was praised by, for example, the British music site The Quietus with the words "Frisk Frugt is flipping brilliant", BBC 6 Music gave way to the avant-garde and The Wire called the album "a rare beast".
We are very honored to welcome Anders Lauge Meldgaard to Tambourhinoceros. The forthcoming album is titled Den Europæiske Spejlbue, and we can already reveal that Anders Laugesen Meldgaard has done it again!
