Ragazzi by Cancer out in the Nordics
The short version: Cancer is a duo consisting of When Saints Go Machine lead singer/producer Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild and Chorus Grant lead singer/guitarist Kristian Finne Kristensen. Today their debut is released across the Nordics. 6 songs stretching across roughly 30 minutes.
We've been moved by these wonderful songs for almost two years since we got the first demos from Nikolaj & Kristian. It's been such a joy watching the two buddies develop their musical friendship, play some of the best concerts we've ever seen - and finally the recordings and production of Ragazzi during the last months have morphed the minimalistic demos we got back in the day into some very, very beautiful and special.
Nis Bysted of Thulebasen (that band is m....f...ng genious too) has produced Ragazzi. Shout outs to him! Also worthy of praise is the rhythm section of Moogie Johnson & Tobias 'Tex' Lange - also playing for Chorus Grant these two guys are the Mitchell/Reddings of 2014
