Communions' odyssey of an album, Pure Fabrication has been out for five months now, and in the meantime live music has returned to its feet.

Our June vinyl giveaway is the brand new Communions allbum Pure Fabrication, a treatise on cultural inheritance and self-discovery wrapped in the Rehof brothers' timeless alternative rock songwriting.

In their sophomore album of Odyssean size and scope, Communions weave an intricate tapestry from “cultural debris”. While Pure Fabrication follows the arc of a reverse coming of age story, Communions’ Rehof brothers have arrived at a point of bold artistic maturity.

“‘Learn to Pray’ is told from the perspective of someone powerlessly witnessing a culture in the midst of its collapse, and wishing to take a distance from it” says lead singer Martin Rehof about Communions' newest single.

Evoking feelings of naive love and unfettered freedom, “Cupid” is a snapshot from the start of the reverse coming of age story on Pure Fabrication, Communions’ sophomore album out April 23.

Today, Communions are making their Tambourhinoceros debut with "Splendour", a song about sickly, destructive love.

The Copenhagen-based indie rockers have signed on with Tambourhinoceros. Accompanying the signing, Communions’ Rehof brothers — Martin (vocals and guitar) and Mads (Bass) — have announced new music in the pipeline, including the new single "Splendour" out next Friday, November 27.
