The 1996 Tennis Session is Epic and Out Now!

In the middle of summer's corona lockdown, Palace Winter took over an empty hotel's tennis court to record an epic hybrid live session / music video of their album's anthem "1996". Check it out.

Palace Winter is fresh off the release of their third studio album ...Keep Dreaming, Buddy, and the "1996" live session also finishes off a string of live "Tennis Sessions" from the band, including the singles from the album "Won't Be Long" and "Top of the Hill".

...Keep Dreaming, Buddy was written in a similar environment. “I was walking around this weird volcano island. The retro hotel was like a forgotten paradise resort. The whole thing felt like a Lynchian alternate reality. Caspar was sending me these synth hooks and drum loops from Denmark, so I started coming up with melodies and lyrical ideas to record into my phone” says Coleman about the contrast in which the new album was written, “coming from two entirely different environments.

With hotels in Copenhagen all but abandoned during the height of corona lockdown, the band returned here to the same strange hotel scenes which informed their album from the start.
