Gate 5

Gate 5 is the second album from Thulebasen.

It's also a record that redefined the band in many ways. On the first album Guitar Wand Thulebasen was a solo project of front figure Nis Bysted, from Gate 5 and onwards Thulebasen is a trio. The songs on this record combined with the whole becoming-a-band thing has placed Thulebasen in a very special place musically with the group's rare mix of guitar riffs, improvisation, fearless vocals and chaotic beats.

We foresee that Gate 5 will have a special place on the alternative scene for years to come.

We released this very creative and hard-hitting record in early 2011 in partnership with our friends at Escho.
