Introducing RPEX by FCAN

Introducing RPEX by FCAN

Today an amazing visual music album is released.

It is called RPEX and it is created by the artist FCAN.

FCAN’s RPEX is issued on a 12" vinyl and as download. The album is bundled with the software FCAN_RPEX_VIEWER (coded by Tambourhinoceros co-founder and Oh No Ono drummer Kristoffer Rom) that takes you on a journey into the visual universe of FCAN_SPACE. It is shown in full screen on your computer when running the software FCAN_RPEX_VIEWER (compatible with both MAC and PC).

About the project Mensch Matsumoto (the man behind FCAN) says:

“FCAN is a “MIND_SPACE_TRIGGER”. It works like a drug. When listening to FCAN the feeling of being in an undiscovered ‘space’ of consciousness can be triggered. The thing about drugs is that they are only short cuts to state of minds or ways of understanding life that are already in us. If we take ecstasy many people think that the experience is in the pill. It is not. The drug is made of chemicals that activate a feeling already in us. In other words it is actually cheating to use chemicals instead of finding other ways of finding the emotions in us.”

With RPEX we are witnessing the birth of the new genre, "1991_INTELLIGENT_TEKKNO_MUSIC", through which you will be taken on an intoxicating journey through FCAN_SPACE.

The visual part of RPEX is created by Mensch Matsumoto and Malthe Fischer from Oh No Ono. RPEX is available digitally and on vinyl.

To experience ththes phenomenon that is FCAN live, we recommend that you take part in the FCAN_RPEX_LAUNCH_EVENT on friday the 21st of January at Raahuset in Copenhagen.
