The Hours of the Day
'The Hours of The Day' was released on The New Spring’s third album Late Bloomer (2014). Recorded with his longtime music partner, Jens Ramon (Figurines), the album returns The New Spring to a more traditional sound; songwriting in it’s most naked form focusing on Kallesøe's specific guitar picking style and distinct vocals.
The music magazine GoldFlakePaint describes the sound beautifully as “a hand through the surface of water, the sound of a day taking shape”.
This hymn gracefully portrays a lifetime of experiences in a single song. A simplistic, picturesque and serene musical journey best enjoyed in the sun on a warm summer’s day.
