IRAH - Diamond Grid: Soaring High & Diving Deep

IRAH - Diamond Grid: Soaring High & Diving Deep

This week we celebrate the one year anniversary of IRAH’s second record, which both soars to spiritual dream-pop heights and dives deep into existential crises, aided and abetted by sinister synth soundscapes and processed percussion.

For IRAH, all is in the ambition of channeling lingering spirits - personal, universal, or otherwise. As with their debut Into Dimensions (2016), Diamond Grid was recorded partially at Funkhaus, Berlin, the lavish East German radio complex which has been hailed by many in recent years, including fellow synthesizer trail blazer Nils Frahm, for it’s powerful musical spirit.

Produced further at Sauna Studios in Copenhagen, Diamond Grid displays IRAH’s many sides, from hushed, wood-cabin intimacy, to soaring transcendence, informed by the Funkhaus’s ornate history.

Diamond Grid is available on vinyl and CD here on our website for 30% off normal prices this week only. Use the code “DIAMONDGRID” in checkout.
