The man behind The New Spring is Bastian Kallesøe - leadsinger in one of the most mind-blowing danish acts ever, Shout Wellington Air Force.

While recording and mixing the latest SWAF album Bastian was inspired to continue writing songs. In a short period he had written material for at least one album and needed to record it while it was still fresh. So during the span of only one week Bastian recorded his songs with a few microphones set up in his apartment, surrounded by housekeeping friends and other musicians hanging out and helping.
